Paedophile Matthew Bradshaw Jailed for 25 Years Over Horrific Child Sex Crimes

Leeds Detective Unit Smashes Sick Pervert’s Web of Abuse

Matthew Bradshaw, 30, from Armley, was slammed with a crushing 25-year extended prison sentence at Leeds Crown Court yesterday. The verdict came after Bradshaw admitted a string of horrific sexual offences against children, including the sexual assault of a toddler and amassing a cache of indecent images.

Bradshaw first came under police scrutiny following a 2021 conviction for abusing a two-year-old girl. Already on the Sex Offenders’ Register and under a community order, officers seized his devices. Their forensic checks unearthed vile indecent images, sparking a far wider investigation.

Chilling Catalogue of Abuse Exposed

  • Three counts of raping a girl under 13
  • Sexual assault of a child under 13
  • Four counts of making indecent images of children
  • Four counts of possessing indecent images of children
  • Two counts of voyeurism
  • One count of distributing an indecent image of a child

Detective Sergeant Vows Dangerous Predator Locked Away

“These were really heinous crimes done against young children,” said Detective Sergeant Claire Salkeld of Leeds District Child Safeguarding Unit. “Matthew Bradshaw was already on the Sex Offenders’ Register, and these charges were uncovered through investigations into his online activity. “Thanks to our work, we identified and protected his victims and supported their families through an unimaginably terrible ordeal. “This sentence ensures a dangerous sexual predator is now off the streets and behind bars.”

Bradshaw’s lengthy sentence sends a stark warning: offenders like him will face the full force of the law, protecting the most vulnerable from further harm.
