Man Fighting for Life After Brutal Attack Outside Sandown Pub
Hampshire police are hunting for answers after a violent assault outside the Old Comical pub on St John’s Road last night.
Life-Threatening Injuries After Pub Attack
At 7:55pm on Monday 17 September, officers rushed to the scene where a 49-year-old Isle of Wight man was found with a serious head injury. He was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition.
Suspect Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges
A 24-year-old local man from Sandown was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently being held in custody as investigations continue.
