Bermondsey Shop Owner Busted with Illegal Knives at Dover

A Bermondsey shop owner has been locked up for 21 months after trying to smuggle a stash of illegal weapons into the UK.

Flick Knives, Butterfly Blades and More Hidden in Boot

Kamber Ramadani, who runs a shop on Old Kent Road, told National Crime Agency (NCA) investigators he aimed to flog flick knives, butterfly knives, and other deadly blades in his store.

But Border Force officers stopped him cold during routine checks at Dover docks in February last year. A search of his Mercedes uncovered 28 illegal bladed weapons hidden in the boot, plus a starter pistol and ammo tucked away in the footwell.

Justice Served on the Streets of East London

Ramadani’s shady plans have been smashed, sending a strong message against the trafficking of illegal weapons in the capital.
