Kent Police have charged two locals after a chilling spree of cash demands in Dover. Between 17 January and 20 March 2021, Chris Sellman, 22, and Stephanie Gibb, 28, allegedly targeted two victims with unwarranted money demands.

Both Sellman and Gibb, from Westwell Lane, Ashford, face serious charges of making unwarranted demands for money with the intent to gain or cause loss.

  • Stephanie Gibb was bailed and is due in Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 7 May.
  • Chris Sellman appeared in court on 25 March and was remanded in custody.
  • He is set to face Canterbury Crown Court on 26 April.
