Chatham Drug Dealer Caught Red-Handed With 140 Wraps of Heroin and Crack Stashed on His Body
Massive Drug Haul Found in Magpie Hall Road Raid
Ozioma Egbujor, 27, was nabbed after police swooped on a property in Magpie Hall Road on Monday, 3 March 2025. Officers, attending on routine duties, found him upstairs hiding a staggering 140 wraps of Class A drugs stuffed all over his clothes.
A search revealed 40 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine crammed in his trouser pocket alongside cash and two mobile phones. But the shock didn’t stop there.
Shocking Strip Search Uncovers More Drugs
At the station, a strip search uncovered another 100 wraps, cleverly cling-filmed and concealed on his person. The sheer volume exposed the extent of his operation in the Medway towns between February and March 2025.
Jailed for Over Five Years
Charged the same day with supplying heroin and crack cocaine, Egbujor pleaded guilty and was slammed with a hefty prison sentence of five years and eight months at Canterbury Crown Court on Wednesday 7 May 2025.
Police Vow to Crack Down on Dealers
Detective Constable Hannah Hills, Kent Police: “Drug dealers may go to great lengths to hide evidence, but our robust investigations ensure their activities are exposed. I’m pleased Egbujor is behind bars and that these dangerous substances have been removed from Kent’s streets.”
