Curtis ‘Cocky’ Warren, 59, the infamous former Merseyside drug lord, has been released from prison after serving 14 years at HMP Whitemoor in Cambridgeshire. Once valued at a staggering £200 million, Warren was jailed in 2009 over a massive cannabis smuggling operation.
Stringent Bail Conditions to Keep Him in Check

But he faces some of the toughest bail restrictions in recent memory. The Sun reports he’s banned from using social media apps like WhatsApp and Facebook and must give police 24-hour notice before stepping into a friend’s car.

“Cocky always planned on coming back to Liverpool,” said a source close to Warren. His barrister, Anthony Barraclough, added, “The first thing he wanted to do was see his mother. He simply desires peace and quiet and is allowed to live a normal, decent life.”
Warren’s criminal record includes a 2009 sentence for a £1 million cannabis smuggling plot. He also had extra time added after failing to comply with a massive £198 million Proceeds of Crime order.
