Three Stabbed in Dartford Takeaway Horror
A terrifying stabbing spree erupted on August 31 in Dartford, leaving three people injured, including a delivery driver and her boyfriend. The victims were found bleeding on Spital Street just before 8:20 pm.
Brave Heroism Ends in Bloodshed
27-year-old Anna Gleicy Helrigle de Brito was stabbed in the abdomen, injuring her stomach and intestines. Her boyfriend was also hurt, with a punctured lung after trying to defend her. Another delivery driver who stepped in was stabbed in the chest, according to Anna’s sister, Danyella Angel Helrigle.
“Anna can only consume liquids right now,” Danyella revealed. “Her boyfriend still has a drain in place, and the other victim is recovering too.” Despite the horror, all three are stable in hospital.
Family Launch Fundraiser as Suspect Faces Charges
Anna’s family, who have been supporting her throughout, have set up a fundraiser to cover travel costs from Brazil to the UK. Her mother, Elisangela Alves de Brito, pleaded: “I need to get there and can’t afford it—please help with any amount.”
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Eric Da Silva Soars from Wharfside Close, Erith, has been charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm. Police say the attacker and victims knew each other. The stabbing is being treated as an isolated incident.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage
Detective Chief Inspector Emma Lawry urged locals who saw the attack to come forward. “Many people may have filmed the incident. We want to see any footage to help our investigation,” she said.
Soars is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court soon. Kent Police confirmed the victims are in stable condition after being rushed to a London hospital.
