Notorious Portsmouth Criminal Daniel Storey Locked Up Again
Daniel Storey, a violent career criminal terrorising Portsmouth for 23 years, is back behind bars—again. The 35-year-old thug kicked off his life of crime at just 12 years old. Alongside his partner in crime, Daniel Marsh, he was arrested a staggering 115 times in just two and a half years.
60 Convictions and Counting
Living in Hendy Close, Southsea, Storey has racked up 60 convictions for nearly 150 offences. His victims? Mainly the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable residents he targeted relentlessly over two decades. His latest crime spree includes robbing The Jolly Sailor pub in Southsea last October, a domestic burglary last November, and possession of a Class A drug.
Slap on the Wrist?
Despite his shocking record, Judge Patrick Clarkson QC handed Storey a measly 22-month sentence for his most recent crimes. Even more infuriating, Storey is set to serve less than a year behind bars for his latest spree.
“People forced me into doing the burglaries. I’m sorry,” Storey told Portsmouth Crown Court.
Yet, with such a lengthy rap sheet and a trail of victims, many are left wondering if the light sentence truly delivers justice for Portsmouth’s vulnerable communities.
