Man Critical After Brutal Beckenham Attack – Police Hunt Mystery Suspect
Detectives are urgently appealing for help to identify a man linked to a serious assault in Beckenham in the early hours of Sunday.
Serious Head Injury After Late-Night Street Brawl
Police and paramedics rushed to High Street, Beckenham at 1.22am on 17 October after reports of an assault. They found a 42-year-old man with a severe head injury. He was treated on site before being rushed to a south London hospital, where he remains in critical condition. His next of kin have been informed.
Police Release Image, Ask Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Inspector Tom Revell of South Area Command CID said: “Initial enquiries suggest the assault followed a street confrontation between the victim and another man. We believe the person pictured can help with our investigation.”
“If he sees this appeal, I urge him to come forward and speak to us. Anyone who recognises him should also contact police.”
