Mother Stabbed in Shocking Pushchair Robbery Attempt
Detectives are hunting a dangerous thief who stabbed a woman pushing her toddler in a pram during a robbery attempt in Islington.
Victim Attacked After Helping Young Man
DS Adrian Brown from Islington CID revealed the chilling details: “This woman had her child with her and kindly stopped to help a young man with directions.”
But the help was a trap. The suspect demanded her phone. When she refused, he stabbed her in the leg.
Luckily, the injury caused no lasting damage — but it could have been far worse.
