Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Tonbridge Nail Bar Stabbing

A 51-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing at a Tonbridge nail bar.

Stabbing Shocks High Street Nail Bar

Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service rushed to the High Street nail bar at 9.18am on Wednesday, 11 March 2020. A woman in her 40s was found with stab wounds and quickly taken to hospital. Her condition remains serious but stable.

Suspect Arrested and Charged

At 10.15am on the same day, Thuan Dinh of Rowan Mews, Tonbridge, was arrested. Authorities revealed the victim and Dinh know each other. The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate launched a full investigation.

On Thursday, 12 March, the Crown Prosecution Service charged Dinh with attempted murder, possession of a knife in a public place, and breaching a restraining order. He remains in custody and is due at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 13 March.
