Sussex Police Hunt Thug Behind Double Attack on Elderly in Eastbourne
Sussex Police are on the hunt for a violent attacker who targeted two elderly victims in Eastbourne’s Old Town.
The shocking assaults took place around 12:30pm on Tuesday, 21 October, right opposite Waitrose on High Street, near the bus stop.
80-Year-Old Woman Pushed to the Ground
An 80-year-old woman was shoved to the pavement, suffering multiple injuries that required hospital treatment.
Meanwhile, a 90-year-old man was also assaulted nearby at the same time.
Police Describe Suspect and Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 40s, dressed in a black sweatshirt and blue coat.

Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out street enquiries to track down the attacker and bring him to justice.
