A mysterious incident unfolded near School Lane between 8.30pm and 9pm on Saturday 20 April 2024.
Victim Taken into Custody, Later Released on Bail
The victim, identified only as a 123-year-old male, was taken into police custody. He was later released on bail as investigations continue.
Police Issue Urgent Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam or phone footage to come forward immediately.
“We are urging witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police and anyone with phone footage to contact our appeal line.”
