Brentford Stabbing Tragedy: Man Dead, Woman Injured

Police rushed to Albany Road, Brentford, on the evening of Friday, 12 November, after a brutal stabbing left a 20-year-old man dead and a woman injured.

Ali Abucar Ali, aged 20, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 82-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening wounds and has since been discharged from hospital.

Detectives Hunt Two Key Witnesses From CCTV

Officers tracking the case have released CCTV images showing two men who may have witnessed the violent attack.

  • Man One: White, ginger hair, black glasses. Wearing a long grey coat, shorts, and trainers. Spotted walking along Wilkes Road toward Albany Road carrying what looked like a takeaway bag.
  • Man Two: White, light hair with distinctive thick-framed glasses, carrying a rucksack. Seen walking up Albany Road toward Brook Road South just before the incident.

Detective Urges Witnesses to Come Forward

“We are really keen to speak to the men in the CCTV images as we believe they are significant witnesses in the murder of Ali Abucar Ali and the attempted murder of an 82-year-old woman. Please be assured, you are not in any trouble but may be able to assist with the investigation,” said Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie.
