Four Arrested Over Deadly Mitcham Shooting
Suspects in Custody
Police arrested four men on Wednesday, 26 April, charging them with murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. They are:
- Manuel Paulo, 19, of Garrett Lane, SW17
- Kavaun Morrison, 18, of Swain Close, SW16
- Armani McClymont, 20, of Camden Way, Thornton Heath
- Denzel Kwateng, 20, of Parkway, New Addington
All four will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 28 April.
Fatal Shooting Rocks Mitcham
The charges follow the tragic shooting of 22-year-old Tyrese on Tuesday, 4 April. Police were called at around 2:25am to reports of a man found injured on Croydon Road, near Beddington Lane junction in Mitcham.
Emergency Services’ Heroic Efforts
Officers and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene, but despite their best efforts, Tyrese died shortly after arriving. His next of kin have now been informed.
Cause of Death Confirmed
A post-mortem on Wednesday, 5 April confirmed Tyrese died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
