Police Dog Sniffs Out Drugs in Ashford Sting

Kent Police swooped on Repton Park, Ashford, on Friday, June 10, after reports of drug dealing. Around 5pm, officers stopped and searched two Londoners near Lancaster Way.

They found wraps of Class A drugs. A 22-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply. A 34-year-old woman was nabbed for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. Two mobile phones were also seized.

Late-Night Raid Uncovers More Drugs and Weapons

Later that evening, at 10.30pm, cops raided a property on Sir Bernard Paget Avenue. Ashford’s Community Policing Team was joined by Police Dog Roxy, who sniffed out drugs hidden under a mattress.

Officers seized marijuana, cocaine, heroin, weighing scales, three knives, and two more cellphones.

Four More Arrested, All Released on Bail

Inside the house, four suspects were arrested: a 33-year-old woman, and three men aged 22 and 27 (two men were 27).

All six individuals arrested that day remain released on police bail as investigations continue.
