Bearded Fugitive Goes Clean-Shaven in Daring Prison Escape Manhunt
Convicted Killer Changes Look to Dodge the Law
Danelo Cavalcante, the convicted murderer who smashed out of a Pennsylvania jail over a week ago, is now sporting a fresh new look – he’s shaved off his beard and moustache. Police have released fresh CCTV snaps showing him rocking a hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, green prison pants, and white trainers, caught on a porch camera after a recent sighting.
New Sighting Near Philly Sends Shockwaves
The 34-year-old fugitive was spotted near Phoenixville, about 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia, on Saturday night. Cavalcante bolted from Chester County Prison on August 31, where he was awaiting transfer to a state jail to serve a life term for murdering his ex-girlfriend.
Warning: Fugitive Driving White Van with Refrigeration Unit
Officials have revealed Cavalcante might be using a 2020 white Ford Transit van fitted with a refrigeration unit. The Pennsylvania State Police are begging the public to be vigilant and contact them immediately if they see him.
Brazilian Murder Suspect Spurs Massive Manhunt
U.S. Marshals have also confirmed Cavalcante is wanted for a 2017 murder in Brazil. His multiple sightings have sparked panic — last week local schools shut down after another reported encounter. A $20,000 reward is now on the table for tips leading to his capture.
The hunt is still on. Authorities are pulling out all the stops to snare the slippery fugitive and close this chilling case.
