‘Billy the Kid’ Shot Dead in North West London Thriller
A young man known locally as “Billy the Kid” was gunned down in Stonebridge, North West London, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Gunshots Ring Out on Windrush Road
Police were alerted around 3am on 16 July after reports of gunfire on Windrush Road, NW10. Officers, including armed units, rushed to the scene.
They found a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound. Despite first aid efforts and paramedics’ arrival, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Murder Probe Launched – No Arrests Yet
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command have taken over the investigation. They are informing the next of kin as they await formal ID.
A post-mortem is scheduled. Police urge anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference Cad 895/16Jul. No arrests have been made so far.
