Stolen Metal Linked to Earlier Chippenham Theft
Police seized a vehicle loaded with scrap metal. The pair were also tied to a similar theft in Chippenham on May 10, revealing a wider crime spree.
Charged and Facing Court
Florin Toma, 42, from Queens Head Road, Birmingham, and Adrian Stoicescu, 28, of Whitehall Road, Birmingham, face two counts of theft each. They are due in Swindon Magistrates Court on August 2.
Police Urge Public to Stay Vigilant
“We would always encourage members of the public to report suspicious activity they may see in their neighbourhood so we can take action quickly,” said Sgt Stephanie Young.
