Hammer Attack Man Appears before Portsmouth Crown Court
A man facing charges of attempted murder against a 17 year Portsmouth girl has appeared before a Judge at Portsmouth Crown Court, today (Tuesday 31st May) 28 Year old James Hemming, Cross Street, Portsea, appeared before Judge Sarah Munro QC via Video Link from Winchester Prison. He will now stand trial before and Judge and Jury on the 10th October later in the year. No application for bail was made and Hemming was told he would remain in custody until his next court appearance of a pre trial review on the 15th July.
