Tragedy on Watling Street: Nine-Year-Old Girl Dies After Bus Crash

A nine-year-old girl has tragically died following a collision with a bus in Bexleyheath. The horrific crash happened on Watling Street near Halcot Avenue at 9:05 AM on August 3. Her five-year-old brother was also involved in the incident.

“At 09:05hrs on Saturday, 3 August, police responded to reports of a bus colliding with two children on Watling Street near Halcot Avenue. A nine-year-old girl was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and sadly died on Monday afternoon.”

The investigation is being led by the Roads and Transport Policing Command. Witnesses are urged to call 101 quoting reference CAD 2309/03AUG with any information.
