Two Weeks After Brutal Stabbing, Police Hunt Eddie King’s Killers
Detectives are desperate to catch those behind the savage murder of 19-year-old Eddie King Muthemba Kinuthia. It’s been two weeks since Eddie was stabbed multiple times in Grosvenor Road Triangle Park, St Pauls, Bristol.
Massive Police Operation Underway
The Major Crime Investigation Team hasn’t let up. Over 40 officers and staff are working round the clock, combing through evidence and hunting suspects. The Bristol East Neighbourhood Policing Team has stepped up patrols in the area to calm nerves and gather witness tips.
Specialist units from Avon and Somerset Police are all hands on deck — crime scene experts, search teams, drone pilots, digital investigators and the CID have carried out 500+ investigative tasks. Hours of CCTV footage are being reviewed, with more than 50 people already interviewed.
Two Arrests Made, But Suspects Still Free on Bail
Two men have been held on suspicion of Eddie’s murder. Both have since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
“We need the public to come forward no matter how small the detail,” said Detective Chief Inspector Mark Almond, senior investigating officer. “Justice for Eddie and his family depends on it.”
Chief Inspector Deepak Kenth added, “Thanks to everyone supporting the family. The killers must be found and punished for this horrific crime.”
