Young Dealer Jailed Over 160 Wraps of Heroin and Coke in Hounslow

Tomas Afewerki, 20, from North Hyde Lane, Heston, was sentenced to over five years behind bars at Isleworth Crown Court on 7 November 2019. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine.

Massive Drug Haul on Hounslow High Street

Afewerki was stopped on 17 March 2019 on Hounslow High Street, where police found him carrying 21 wraps of Class A drugs. A subsequent raid on his home uncovered a staggering 140 wraps of crack cocaine alongside a sizable stash of heroin.

Evidence Overwhelms Dealer

Facing overwhelming proof, Afewerki changed his plea to guilty at the hearing. Inspector Dee O’Brien of Hounslow Safer Neighbourhoods hailed the outcome, saying, “This is a fantastic result for the people of Hounslow.”

Police Message: Help Us Tackle Drugs

Inspector O’Brien added, “The hard work by the Hounslow Central police team shows we will not tolerate drugs in our community. We urge anyone with information on criminal activity to come forward.”
