Pervert David Gallon Jailed for Raping Child as Young as 12

David Storey, aka David Gallon, began abusing one victim when she was just 12 years old. He subjected her to multiple sexual assaults. Terrified, she stayed silent for years before bravely coming forward, prompting a police investigation.

Multiple Victims Step Forward

In 2018, another victim reported being raped, naming Gallon as the suspect. The 23-year-old was arrested and denied all charges. But at Newcastle Crown Court, a jury saw through his lies and convicted him of:

  • Rape
  • Inciting a female child to engage in sexual activity
  • Sexual assault of a child under 13 by touching
  • Four counts of sexual activity with a child

He also pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a girl under 16.

Victims Speak Out on Lasting Pain

“I am a victim of abuse. Still today I don’t understand why it was me and that is a question I ask myself daily. I am an adult now, but don’t feel like I have had the years that everyone speaks about, ‘teenage years are the best years’ so they say but for me that just is not true. It makes me sick and embarrassed that at just 12-years-old, I had my dignity ripped from me.”

“This male took advantage of me, my trust, my naivety and vulnerabilities and put me through an ordeal that will have lasting effects on me for life in so many different ways. These events have impacted my everyday life, my family, my friends. I have different feelings and emotions every day and trying to do what used to come easy and natural to me is now a struggle.”

Justice Served as Gallon Sentenced to Over Five Years

Last week, August 2, Gallon was locked up for 63 months. Despite no remorse during the investigation, he now faces the full weight of the law.

Authorities praise the victims’ bravery and urge anyone suffering in silence from abuse to come forward.
