St Albans Close Horror: Man Hammered During Brutal Flat Burglary
Victim Attacked in Stairwell Before Home Invasion
On Sunday, February 12, 2023, a man was horrifically assaulted by an acquaintance in a communal stairwell. The attacker then forced his way into the victim’s flat on St Albans Close, Gillingham.
Three Intruders Lay Into Victim, One Wielding Hammer
Inside the flat, the victim was attacked by the man and two others. One of the trio used a hammer, causing serious injuries before the gang fled the scene.
Suspect Klein Moir Charged and Remanded
Police swiftly arrested 27-year-old Klein Moir of St Albans Close. On Tuesday, February 14, he was charged with aggravated burglary and made a Maidstone Crown Court appearance. Moir was remanded ahead of his next hearing on March 14.
