Drug Dealer Nabbed Just Days After Moving to Guildford

Quick Police Action Snaps Up Suspect

Just three days after arriving in Guildford, 29-year-old Restal was stopped by police on Monday, 12 September. Officers acted on a tip-off that he was dealing Class A drugs in the area. He was searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act and arrested on the spot.

Court Drama and Heavy Sentence

Restal, from Hensford Gardens, London, pleaded guilty at court on Friday, 23 December. The judge handed him a tough sentence of three years and four months behind bars, plus a £190 fine for his involvement in drug supply.

Police Crack Down on County Lines

“We stopped Restal only a matter of days after he arrived in Guildford, preventing his behaviour from having a significant impact on our local communities,” said PC David Oliver, leading the investigation.

He added, “Proactive police work to tackle county lines continues across Surrey. If you notice suspicious drug activity, please get in touch.”
