Drug Dealer John Smith Locked Up for Over Eight Years

John Christopher Smith, 42, from Wolverton Street, Liverpool, has been handed a hefty jail sentence of eight years and three months. The Liverpool Crown Court sentenced him for drug dealing and assault offences across Hull and Merseyside.

Heavy Sentence for Class A Drug Supply

Smith got 99 months for supplying cocaine and heroin in Hull. He also received an additional 67 months for possession with intent to supply drugs in Liverpool. These sentences will run concurrently, meaning he serves the longer term.

“John Smith brought and supplied class A drugs and crime to the streets of Hull,” said Constable Worrall.

“He pleaded guilty at Hull Crown Court and was transferred to 1 to face similar charges there.

“Tackling serious and organised crime in our communities is a top priority. We will stop at nothing to bring offenders to justice.”

“We’re pleased with the lengthy sentence. It gives Smith time to reflect on the misery he caused.”
