Massive Blaze Hits Industrial Unit at Chatham Docks!
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is battling a huge fire sparked by around 500 tonnes of recycling waste engulfed in flames at an industrial unit in Chatham Docks.
Five Fire Engines Rush to Scene
At the peak of the blaze, five fire engines roared onto the scene, dousing the roaring inferno with main jets and water from nearby hydrants.
Firefighters Making Good Progress
With the situation now under better control, the number of engines has been scaled back to three. Crews are working hard, expected to remain on site until this afternoon as they bring the fire fully under control.
