Teen Charged Over Upminster Stabbing

A 17-year-old from Chatham, Kent has been charged following a stabbing in Upminster.

Stabbing Incident

The attack happened on Friday, 24 September in Marlborough Gardens, Upminster. A 15-year-old boy was stabbed and rushed to hospital. His injuries are serious but stable.

Man in Custody

The teenager appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 29 September. He faces charges of section 18 GBH with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been remanded in custody pending further investigation.
