Toby Tapp, 21, from Brewer Street, Lamberhurst, got caught speeding over the legal booze limit while driving in Flimwell, East Sussex. On 29 January 2022, cops stopped him and found he had a breath alcohol reading of 108 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. The legal limit? Just 35 microgrammes.
Harsh penalty lands for 21-year-old
On 15 February 2022, maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Magistrates’ Court handed down the sentence. Tapp pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and drink-driving offences. He now faces a 23-month driving ban.
