New Twists in Lucy McHugh Murder Trial
Nicholson’s Chilling Claims to Lucy’s Mum
The court has revealed that Nicholson was in contact with Lucy’s mother, Stacey White, on the day Lucy went missing. After Stacey reached out, worried sick, Nicholson tried to reassure her, telling her, “Keep your chin up.” He promised the police would find Lucy.
Expert Evidence Paints Mixed Picture
Today, a Hampshire Constabulary data and phone analyst took the stand, alongside a GPS and communications professor. Some of the movements tied to Nicholson match CCTV footage from that day — but other data is less clear. Intriguingly, Lucy and Nicholson were both online on Facebook around the same time.
A Parcel Linked to Nicholson
Nicholson also signed for a parcel on the day Lucy disappeared. The delivery driver has now given evidence, adding another piece to the puzzle.
Family Tensions Revealed
Lucy’s grandmother, Dawn White, is currently giving evidence. She revealed Lucy once stayed with her for six months, away from Nicholson, because the teenager was having “problems” and often argued with him.
The trial continues. Stay tuned for updates.
