Family of Lee Butler speak out after Lewis Brown jailed for manslaughter
Lewis Brown was handed a 10-and-a-half-year sentence at Oxford Crown Court yesterday, but Lee Butler’s family say nothing can undo the damage he’s caused.
Family shattered by deadly knife attack
The grieving relatives said: “Lewis Brown has ripped our family apart. Our lives will never be the same again, and we bear the full weight of suffering because of his actions.”
Heartbreak over manslaughter verdict
They added, “We simply cannot understand how someone could take Lee’s life away in a flash of a knife.”
“We are naturally extremely saddened and disappointed that the verdict was manslaughter, but no conviction or sentence would ever bring Lee back to us.”
Remembering Lee, taken too soon
“Lee was a beautiful boy whose life was snatched away by a knife,” said the family. “It was a futile waste of a life, but we know one day, we shall meet again and share the feelings that have always been there.”
