Knife Horror in Hackney: Man Stabbed in Early Hours

A man in his late twenties was stabbed in North London in the early hours of Saturday morning. Police raced to Upper Clapton Road, Hackney, after reports came in at 1:20 a.m.

Victim Stable But Attacker Still At Large

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before rushing him to hospital, where he remains stable. The stabbing happened near Upper Clapton Road or Southwold Road. So far, no arrests have been made and the knifeman is still on the run.

Major Crime Scene Locks Down Area

A large crime scene was set up opposite Hendale 1 with the area cordoned off and heavy police presence.

“Police were called to Upper Clapton Road at 01:20hrs on Saturday, 15 October following reports of a stabbing,” a spokesperson said.

“Following a search, a male in his late twenties was found and treated before being taken to hospital. His condition is neither life-threatening nor life-altering.”

“It is believed the victim was stabbed near Upper Clapton Road/Southwold Road. No arrests have been made. Crime scenes remain in place and investigations are ongoing.”

Residents are urged to stay vigilant as police hunt the attacker.
