A flume ride at London’s Palace Pier hit trouble this afternoon when one of the logs got stuck, leaving two children stranded. The scare happened around 3 PM, sending staff into immediate action.

Eyewitnesses told Sussex News how the pier team acted fast to get the kids safe. The children were carefully brought down emergency stairs with no injuries reported.

“It was quite alarming to see the log stuck and the children stranded,” said one onlooker. “But the staff handled it professionally, getting the kids out quickly and safely.”
