London Top Cop Guilty in Child Image Scandal
A senior Met Police officer and two others have been found guilty of possessing and sharing indecent images of a child. The shocking convictions come after a rigorous investigation into child abuse materials.
Senior Officer Caught Red-Handed
Novlett Robyn Williams, 54, a superintendent within Frontline Policing, was convicted at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 19 November. She was found guilty of possessing an indecent moving image of a child. Williams was cleared of charges relating to failing to report the distribution of the images.
Two More Convicted Over Horrific Images
- Jennifer Hodge, 56 of Deacon Road was convicted of distributing an indecent moving image of a child.
- Dido Massivi, 61, also from Deacon Road, was found guilty of multiple counts of distributing indecent images and possession of extreme pornography after more illegal content was uncovered on his phone.
Sentencing Looms
All three defendants are due to be sentenced on Tuesday, 26 November. The case has sent shockwaves through the Metropolitan Police and underscores the ongoing fight against child exploitation.
