Love Island’s Caroline Flack Faces Court Over Assault Allegation
Love Island host Caroline Flack has appeared in court charged with assaulting her boyfriend, Lewis Burton. The 40-year-old presenter, who stepped down from hosting the upcoming winter series of ITV2’s hit dating show, faces accusations following a domestic incident at her North London home.
Arrest After Alleged Domestic Row
Flack was arrested in the early hours after police responded to a reported domestic incident in Islington on December 12. She was charged with assaulting Lewis Burton, the 27-year-old former professional tennis player and model.
Drama in the Dock
Flack was mobbed by photographers and TV crews as she was escorted into court. Burton arrived separately, travelling in a different vehicle. The presenter entered a plea of Not Guilty and has been released on bail pending trial.
The trial date is yet to be set, but the case has already sent shockwaves through the Love Island fanbase.
