Rowlands Castle Woman Jailed for Shoplifting Spree

A 40-year-old woman from Rowlands Castle has been slammed with a five-month prison sentence for shoplifting in Havant and Fareham.

Natalie Murphy Caught Stealing Twice

Natalie Murphy, from Whichers Gate Road, admitted guilt to two separate thefts. The first hit happened on December 31, 2020, at Sainsbury’s Broadcut in Fareham, where she swiped over £400 worth of goods.

Her second theft took place this July at the Asda store on Purbrook Way, where she pinched more than £300 in items.

Justice Served at Portsmouth Magistrates Court

On Wednesday, 15 September, Portsmouth Magistrates handed down Murphy’s sentence after hearing all the facts. She now faces five months behind bars for her shoplifting offences.
