Huge Cannabis Haul Worth £900k Seized in Canterbury Street Raid

Police swooped on Old Park Avenue, Canterbury, uncovering three massive cannabis farms valued at around £900,000. The raid came after officers spotted suspicious activity on the morning of Friday, 5 April 2019.

Man Arrested After 250 Plants Found

Officers arrested 24-year-old Ardit Tershalla at the scene. A search of his property revealed approximately 250 cannabis plants. Tershalla, a local resident, was charged with cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity.

He appeared at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court the very next day and was remanded in custody, awaiting a further court hearing.

Two More Properties Raided, 500 Plants Each Found

While still on the street, police became suspicious of two neighbouring homes. Warrants were quickly obtained, leading to the discovery of around 500 plants in each property. Investigations are ongoing.
