18-Year-Old Charged with Manslaughter After Woman’s Fatal Fall in Southampton
A tragic drama unfolded in Southampton as 25-year-old Tia Langdon died after falling from a block of flats on Cuckmere Lane. Found seriously injured just before 2.45pm on Thursday, 28 August, she was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away the following day.
Man Faces Multiple Charges Over Incident
Jaiden Hassan-Agard, 18, from Stour Close, Southampton, was arrested and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 3 September. He faces a slew of serious charges including:
- Manslaughter
- Threats to kill
- False imprisonment
- Threatening with an offensive weapon (against Tia and another woman present)
- Kidnap (relating to the second woman)
Hassan-Agard was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 29 September.
Police Probe Ongoing, Three People Involved
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed that Tia, Hassan-Agard, and a second woman were all inside the flat before the fatal fall. Detectives from the Major Crime Unit are investigating the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Floral tributes now adorn the block of flats as locals mourn Tia, remembered for her striking bright green/blue hair and “bubbly personality”. A police spokesperson said:
