Two Charged Over George Eric Rogers’ Tragic Death in Enfield

Detectives have made a breakthrough in the investigation into the death of George Eric Rogers from Enfield. A man and a woman have now been charged with his murder.

Ellie Ackhurst and Anthony Elliott Face Murder Charges

Ellie Ackhurst, 30, and Anthony Elliott, 42, both with no fixed address, were formally charged in the early hours of Tuesday, 5 March. Ackhurst is due to appear at 1 Magistrates’ Court, while Elliott will face Highbury Magistrates’ Court later the same day—both remain in custody.

Victim Confirmed; Police Urge Public to Come Forward

The charges follow a distress call received at 19:21hrs on Friday, 1 December. Sadly, George Eric Rogers died at the scene from his injuries. While formal ID is pending, next of kin have been informed.
