Man Stabbed in Woolwich Street – Life Threatening Injuries
Knife Attack Shocks Herbert Road
Police rushed to Herbert Road, SE18 at 3.57pm on Thursday 17 November after reports of a stabbing. Officers found a man with serious stab wounds at the scene. He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Suspect Arrested on Scene
A man was quickly detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody as investigations continue. Police have sealed off the area and set up a crime scene.
Section 60 Powers Activated
To clamp down on any further violence, authorities authorised a Section 60 CJPO for Woolwich and Plumstead until 7.50am on 18 November. This gives police extra powers to stop and search anyone in the area.

Anyone with info is urged to call 101 quoting CAD 4816/17OCT22. Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
