Man Charged Over Fatal Camden Crash
Police have charged 32-year-old Alistair McWilliams following a deadly collision in Camden.
Manhunt Ends in Arrest
Officers from the Roads and Policing Transport Command launched a hunt for McWilliams after the crash in the early hours of Thursday, 23 August. The 32-year-old, who has no fixed address, was finally arrested.
Serious Charges Laid
On Friday, 14 September, McWilliams was hit with four serious offences:
- Causing death by dangerous driving
- Failing to stop after a road accident
- Causing death by driving unlicensed and uninsured
- Aggravated vehicle taking
Remanded to Appear in Court
McWilliams is currently in custody and set to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 15 September.
