Man Charged Over Serious Sexual Assault in Hyde
A man has been charged following a serious sexual assault in Hyde on the morning of 5 July.
Brandon Smith Faces Multiple Charges
Brandon Smith, from Larch Road, Denton, is charged with two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Tameside Magistrates Court tomorrow, 11 July 2024.

Detective Inspector Christopher Dean, GMP’s Tameside district, said: “All reports of incidents such as this are taken with the utmost seriousness by officers, and I hope this charge demonstrates the urgency with which we’ve worked to secure an outcome.
