Man Charged with Southampton Grandfather’s Murder
Detectives have charged a man in connection with the shocking murder of a Southampton grandfather found dead earlier this week.
Victim Named as John Perry
John Perry, 70, was found dead in a flat on Bursledon Road just after 9pm on February 5. The tragic discovery has rocked the local community.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Joshua Perry, 28, also of Bursledon Road, has been charged not only with the murder of John Perry but also with possession of a bladed article and a Class B controlled drug.
Upcoming Court Appearance
Joshua Perry is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates on Monday, February 10.
