Pervert on London Underground Jailed for 16 Months After Masturbating at Woman
Emberson Busted After Shocking Tube Incident
A 55-year-old pervert has been sentenced to 16 months in prison after being caught on the London Underground masturbating in front of a woman. Terence Emberson, from Hertford, was filmed committing the vile act while riding the Victoria Line at Tottenham Hale station on June 1.
Breaking Court Orders, Facing Serious Time
Emberson appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 18, admitting to indecent exposure and breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) from a previous offence in 2020. The SHPO specifically banned him from lowering or unzipping his trousers in public.
On August 15, he was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court and will also have to stay on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years.
Swift Police Action and Warning to the Public
Police matched the victim’s witness statement instantly and tracked Emberson down to his home for arrest. “I’m glad to see Emberson behind bars for his disgusting actions that left the victim shocked,” said Detective Constable Emma Martin of British Transport Police.
“Sexual Harm Prevention Orders safeguard the public, and Emberson’s flagrant defiance shows his predatory nature.”
