A 75-year-old man from Gosport has been locked up for a dozen years after pleading guilty to a string of horrific sexual offences against two children.
Edwin Gallienne Sentenced for 18 Sex Offences
Edwin Gallienne, of 1 Hall Lane, admitted 18 sex crimes including rape, committed over several years. He was sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on Thursday, August 11.

“Edwin Gallienne took advantage of these young victims for his own sexual gratification,” said Detective Constable Marie Duffy. “I would like to thank the victims for their courage in coming forward about these horrendous crimes and hope that today’s sentence will help give them some closure, so they can move on with their lives.”
