Son Jailed for Life After Brutal Attempt to Kill His Own Father

Shazhan Hussain, 34, from Robert Street, Milford Haven, has been handed a life sentence for a chilling attack on his father, Abdul Rouf. The violent assault took place in the garden of a Harrogate Terrace home in Undercliffe on April 9 last year.

Premeditated Attack from South Wales

Hussain made a calculated journey from his South Wales home to carry out the attack. Found guilty of attempted murder on February 1, he was sentenced at bradford/" title="Bradford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bradford Crown Court today to life imprisonment with a minimum term of nearly 13 years.

Detective Condemns ‘Horrific and Sustained Attack’

Detective Inspector Laura Casey said: “This was a horrific and sustained attack, and the victim is incredibly fortunate to be alive today. Hussain’s willingness to drive hundreds of miles to perpetrate this crime, coupled with previous threats against the victim over several years, underscores the severity of his actions.”
