Bradford Man Jailed for 22 Years Over Horrific Sex Crimes
Dale Osborne, 43, has been locked up for 22 years after a jury found him guilty of a shocking 22 offences. These included nine rapes, six counts of actual bodily harm, threats to kill, and false imprisonment.
Crimes Spanning Over a Decade
The horrifying attacks involved three victims and took place between 2002 and 2014. Osborne’s catalogue of abuse also includes one attempted rape and one sexual assault.
Bradford Crown Court sentenced Osborne today (13 July), handing down not only a lengthy prison sentence but also tough measures to keep the victims protected.
Harsh Sentence and Lifetime Restrictions
- Osborne must serve at least two-thirds of his 22-year sentence before parole.
- He is subject to a Dangerous Offender provision, remaining on licence for a further seven years after release.
- A lifetime restraining order bans him from any contact with his victims, directly or indirectly.
- He is now on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
Police Praise Victims’ Bravery
Detective Inspector Ian Cottrell of Bradford Safeguarding Team said:
“Osborne is a danger to women and we welcome the significant sentence handed down today.”
