Man Jailed for 14 Years Over Teen Rape Horror
A 31-year-old man has been locked up for 14 years after being found guilty of raping a teenage girl, Avon & Somerset Police confirmed.

Daniel Bee, a drifter with no fixed address, was convicted by a jury at Taunton Crown Court, North Somerset, on Thursday, 29 January. Officers found Bee with a teenage girl in a caravan in January 2025, after previously discovering her in his hotel room just a week earlier.

“I feel numb… it all repeats in my head and I want to move on, or at least try, but I’m always brought back to square one. “I’m constantly on edge, like what if he finds me and does it again, or worse. I will never look at a man the same way again. “He is a vile man. He should be locked up forever.”
Judge Slams ‘Wholly Warped’ Offender with Harsh Sentence
His Honour Judge Climie did not mince words, calling Bee’s actions “wholly warped” during sentencing on Friday, 6 March.
Bee was handed 14 years behind bars: 13 years for rape, nine months for stalking, two months for dangerous driving, plus one month for breaching bail conditions.
He will also endure a four-year licence extension and a lifelong restraining order.
“You pose a significant risk,” the judge warned as he delivered the tough verdict.
