Man Stabbed and Sprayed in Face in Croydon Brawl

A 37-year-old man is fighting to recover after a terrifying attack near the Croydon Employment Tribunal offices. He was stabbed and doused in the face with an unknown aerosol substance during a violent altercation.

Emergency Called to Montague Court

At 12:57pm on Tuesday, March 18, police and paramedics rushed to Montague Court, Croydon, following reports of a disturbance. The victim was found with a stab wound and suffering the effects of an aerosol spray.

London Ambulance Service treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, police confirmed his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“Police were called to reports of an altercation in Montague Court, Croydon at 12:57hrs on Tuesday, 18 March. The London Ambulance Service treated a 37-year-old man at the scene for a stab wound. He had also been sprayed in the face with an aerosol can. He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were confirmed as non-life-threatening or life-changing.”

So far, no arrests have been made, and officers are continuing their investigation. Police are urging anyone who saw the attack or has information to come forward.
